Q. Why can't I login to Academic Writer? Why does it say my account is expired or invalid?

With regard to the message about account expired or invalid:

This is a pretty subtle problem that may have to do with the cookies Academic Writer sets in your browser to identify you as having a personal account.
We think that the cookies may expire after some unknown interval.
Or if you have some reason to clear your cookies, then your Academic Writer cookies would be erased too.
Follow this link to the Academic Writer support website Look in the right-hand column under Best Practices for explanations of common log-in issues and links to a tutorial about clearing your cache in various browsers.

As to why Academic Writer will not allow you to login to your personal account in other situations, we have found that the AW login processes sometimes fail for no obvious reason. In which case, you should just try again later.
