You're in luck -- we get this question A LOT. It's a popular assignment; so popular, in fact, that we ordered a bunch of qualifying titles and made a list on our Goodreads page to make them easier for you to browse. You can find that list here: http://tinyurl.com/pclibraries-history-pre-1650.

Once you find a book that interests you, you can look it up in our online catalog to make sure it's available (http://library.piedmont.edu/may/).

Keep in mind that this list is not comprehensive. We have even more pre-1650 history books in our stacks on the 2nd floor of the Arrendale Library --  as well as online in the ebook format. These are just some of our favorites, and it will be a great place to start browsing.

Hope this helps!
